tonite: mark gardner is playing an acoustic set @ popscene! he's supposed to play ride songs! doesnt anyone care about shoegaze anymore? yes yes i know claire records does...i heard he played in between booths at SXSW in Austin or something.
friday: reception for robert gutierrez @ backroom gallery, adobe books 1616 16th st., sf. Vetiver will play they are shimmery and good! dont believe me go to vetiverse.com (sorry i'm still figuring out linkage) 7-11pm. the girl from califa books told me about this and she is a cool chick and i think its free...

Six Foot Sloth, Spooky Dance Band, Experimental Dental School, they played at stork club this week i wanted to go but was poor so i will be here for sure!
and last but never least, Critical Mass WILL BE HUGE this Friday. assemble at 5:30, leave at 6:00pm. Justin Herman Plaza!! on the Embarcadero!! i want to try and keep this a non poliblog but this is important and should be really fun. too bad my japanese city bike with zero gears is not really a match for those sf hills, or more accurately my calf muscles are no match. for a good poliblog go to jesses and his links.
saturday: dont you people rest!
sunday: chinese punk rawk showcase!! clarendon hills play with bunch of commies, i really really want to hear what the state of chinkee-punk is like. with hang on the box, brain failure, and eskapo @ mission records 4pm, $5.
